I’m Milica Jelača Spasić, film editor, post-production wrangler, and a team player. With over 15 years of experience slicing and stitching together stories that, hopefully make people feel things, I’ve worked on everything from award winning European cinema to TV thrillers, documentaries, and even a few fashion films that flirt with the line between avantgarde and “what did I just watch?”

Whether I’m shaping narrative arcs or managing post-production madness, I multitask, calmly juggling edits, timelines, exports, and emergency Zooms with five people asking the same question differently.

I’ve worked with directors who’ve been to Cannes and the Oscars and live to tell the tale, with only minimal eye twitching. As a long time member of Küstendorf crew, I’ve contributed to crafting content that honors and celebrates the art of cinema.

Also in the business: my husband, regular collaborator and favorite person to argue with about structure, rhythm, and whether that cut was intentional or just a happy accident. Post is basically our love language.

My Boston Terrier is always by my side, silently judging pacing choices and somehow recognizing film people on sight. He’s not unionized yet, but we’re watching him closely.

When I’m not dissecting scenes, I’m roller skating, surfing like a doomed extra in a beach thriller, or snorkeling. I read Bernhard and Houellebecq, because inner darkness pairs beautifully with tropical water.

I live for stories, suspense, and the exact moment when a guitar squeal makes your spine twitch. I listen to everything from Idles to Autechre – if it sounds like beautiful chaos or a fax machine in distress, I’m in.

Based in Belgrade. Available for remote and on-site work – happily traveling for the love of film, the thrill of new edits, and because sitting still has never been part of the workflow.
